A healthy lifestyle scheme for children has been extended to include everyone in Dundee ahead of the Easter holidays.

Anyone who cycles to Leisure & Culture Dundee swim centres will be able to claim a free swimming session.

They must take a selfie while on their journey to the centre and present it to staff when they arrive.

Pedal to the Pool was first introduced last year for children and has now been extended to include everyone in the city until April 19.

Councillor Kevin Cordell said: "This is a great scheme that gives youngsters, and for the first time this year the adults that are with them, the chance of two types of free healthy exercise during the school holidays.

"Cycling and swimming are both great ways of getting and staying healthy, and a scheme like this that combines the two must be double bubble."
