Dementia specialists gather to share skills and ideas
There are now 850 dementia ambassadors working to help people across Scotland.
Specialists in dementia gathered in Perth to share the skills they use to help those living with the disease.
More than 100 experts took part in the fourth annual gathering of dementia ambassadors.
The scheme was set up in 2012 and there are now 850 ambassadors across Scotland.
They work in colleges, care homes and housing services and strive to improve care for the estimated 90,000 people who have dementia.
Heather Edwards from The Care Inspectorate said: "Dementia in Scotland has been changing in Scotland over the years, we've had three dementia strategies and we're really trying to make outcomes well for people.
"Bringing people and staff together to share good practice and share ideas - it makes a huge difference.
"We've had a huge growth in dementia ambassadors since it started - we've now got 800 ambassadors across Scotland who are taking that good practice out every day of the week, 24 hours a day, and really making a huge impact on the lives of people living with dementia."
