Thief steals pensioner's jewellery of 'immeasurable value'
Police officers believe stolen goods could have been offered for sale in the city centre.
Police are hunting for a thief who stole jewellery said to be of "immeasurable personal value" to a Dundee pensioner.
The theft is thought to have happened between 3pm on February 9 and 10am on Saturday 10 at an address in Liff Crescent.
The items taken from the victim, who is in her 80s, are a gold chain with a pendant made from an old penny, four gold rings, four silver rings and a gold watch.
Police say the items are worth well into four figures, but are of immeasurable personal value to their owner.
Officers are appealing for information as they believe the items could have been offered for sale in the city.
A representative for Police Scotland said: "Although the theft itself is unlikely to have been seen, it is possible that stolen items have been offered for sale in the city, and we would ask anyone who has been offered these items to come forward.
"If you have any information which could help us, please call 101 or speak to any police officer.
