Mark Beaumont teaches students how to succeed in business
The long distance cyclist spoke at the Make It Happen event on Wednesday.
Long distance cyclist Mark Beaumont met with Dundee students to explain how the determination and discipline he relies on for his endurance feats could help them succeed in business.
The Make It Happen conference was part of Dundee Business Week's programme on Wednesday.
Students heard how the broadcaster, adventurer and author overcame numerous obstacles during his 18,000 mile record breaking world-wide cycle.
The athlete, who is rector of Dundee University, also opened a new Centre for Entrepreneurship in the city.
It is hoped the centre will inspire innovation and support start-ups in the life sciences, gaming and creative sectors.
