Workshops, networking opportunities and free business advice will all be on offer as Dundee hosts its annual business week on Monday.

The week will bring together a range of organisations including Business Gateway, Dundee City Council and both Dundee and Abertay University.

The five-day event will host seminars such as Brexit Workshop: New Gold Dream? and A Stronger Voice for Women in the Media.

Councillor Lynne Short said: "Business week will not only help you to find out how to improve various aspects of your operation it will also give people considering a start-up the advice and information they need to take that first vital step.

"Key skills such as communications, branding and data protection will be covered and there's even a chance to win £150,000 for your business as part of the Scottish Edge competition."
