Students attempt to 'drive' across the UK in 12 hours

Students from the St Andrews University Men's Golf Club are attempting to "drive" across the UK in under 12 hours.
The event is being held to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and Scottish Disability Golf and Curling (SDGC).
The 874 mile challenge that equates to 6153 drives of 250 yards will take place across three bays at the Indoor Golf Centre in St Andrews.
SDGC secretary Jim Gales said: "Our thanks go to the Students of St Andrews University Men's Golf Club for the opportunity to not only raise some funds, but also to promote our sports for people with disabilities and to prove that having such difficulties, should not be a barrier to playing the game."
The attempt will take place on Saturday from 7am until 7pm.
