Motorists face weekend diversions as A90 slip road closes
The route will be closed to enable a contractor to install permanent signage.
Motorists face diversions this weekend on the A90 while a slip road is closed for signage to be installed.
The Findon merge slip road onto the northbound A90 main carriageway will close from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Monday.
The closure is to enable a contractor to install permanent signage as part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route project.
To gain access to the A90 northbound carriageway road users should travel southbound on the A90 and exit at the Portlethen Junction.
They should then re-join the A90 travelling northbound.
A Transport Scotland representative said: "The temporary closure of the A90 northbound merge at Findon has been timed to take place over a weekend when traffic is normally quieter to help minimise the impact it may have on road users.
"However, road users who would normally use this route should plan their journeys in advance so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.
"We would like to ask road users to drive with more caution than usual and to observe all signage for their own safety, as well as for the safety other road users and the construction workforce."
