An Aberdeen school that was destroyed by a fire will be permanently closed.
More than 30 firefighters battled the blaze at Cordyce School, Dyce, in November.
The main school building was largely destroyed by the fire and will require demolition.
At the time of the fire, the school for pupils with behavioural issues was not in use and a consultation on its long-term future was under way.
Councillor John Wheeler said: "We are transforming the way in which we educate children and young people with additional support needs away from specialist schools to an inclusive approach at local mainstream schools with appropriate support in place.
"With that in mind, and with the fire damage caused, it is a common sense decision that we have taken.
"Importantly, staff will not be affected as they have already been transferred to other schools across the city."
The closure will be effective as of April this year.
