School shut after quarter of pupils catch vomiting bug

A Moray school has been closed after nearly a quarter of its pupils caught a vomiting bug.
Eighty-three children at Hythehill Primary in Lossiemouth were kept home on Wednesday.
The 301-pupil school has been shut down until Monday while it is deep cleaned.
A Moray Council spokesman said: "Due to an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness the school and nursery will be closed on Thursday and Friday."
Nursery and after-school classes have also been cancelled at the primary school.
