A 15-year-old boy has been reported missing after leaving home with a rucksack.

Zain Shah was last seen by his family in Sheddocksley, Aberdeen, at 8pm on Tuesday.

Police have asked anyone who has seen Zain to contact them.

A spokeswoman said: "Officers are seeking the assistance of the public in an effort to trace a 15 year old male missing from the Sheddocksley area of Aberdeen.

"Zain Shah was last seen by family members around 8.00pm on Tuesday at his home address."
