A local food ingredients manufacturer is donating over £8000 of technology equipment to a secondary school in Aberdeenshire.
Macphie is donating 25 iPad Pros and keyboards to Mearns Academy in Laurencekirk to help further develop skills for life, learning and work.
The donation is to benefit the school's involvement with Developing the Young Workforce programme which aims to create relationships between schools and the business environment.
Mearns Academy Principal Teacher of Achievement Katherine Nepute said: "Macphie's engagement with schools is part of its connection with local communities and plays an important part in informing the next generation about the world of work.
"The two-way support has covered career events, induction to industry days as well as working with specific departments on real-life work scenarios."
