Motorists face diversions during road surfacing works
The B979 Netherley Road will be closed from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Monday.
An Aberdeenshire road is to be closed this weekend for surfacing works.
The closure of the B979 Netherley Road at Stonehaven will enable a contractor to realign the A90 northbound slip roads and carry out surfacing works to construct the new roundabout.
Diversions will be in place for motorists, while there will be no direct access for pedestrians or cyclists.
Instead a minibus will be provided to transfer them to the other side of the closure.
A representative from Transport Scotland said: "These works have been planned to take place at a time when traffic will be quieter to help minimise the impact they may have on road users.
"However, road users who would normally use this route should plan their journeys in advance so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.
"We would like to thank road users and the local community for their on-going support and patience during the construction works."
The road will be closed from around 8pm on Friday until 6am on Monday.
