Get Fit For A Miracle: Various venues, Aberdeenshire
The charity Mental Illness Research in Children and Young Lives launches its new Get Fit for a Miracle campaign.
People are invited to make a new year's resolution and take up a new activity such as running, cycling or walking for 66 days, the length of time it takes to create a new habit.
Engage! Project Band: His Majesty's Theatre, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen
Workshops in performance, songwriting and developing practical music skills for ages 14 to 19.
Project Band runs over three terms and participants cover different skills in each of these terms.
Participants also work towards a final showcase gig in The Lemon Tree.

Spoken word night comprising poetry, comedy, prose, stories, angry rants, and introspective musings.
The headliner is poet and performer Leanne Moden who has featured at Bestival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and TEDxWOMEN.
