Second boy, 14, charged over six deliberate fires

A second 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with six deliberate fires in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were alerted to sheds being set alight, with one resulting in nearby homes being evacuated.
During an incident at Whitestripes Path a shed was completely destroyed and a nearby house and garden fence were also damaged.
Between December 29, 2017, and January 3, 2018, six incidents were reported at Laurel Avenue, Brander Place, Whitestripes Drive, Whitestripes Path and Fairview Drive.
On Thursday, another 14-year-old was charged in connection with the incidents.
Both boys will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
