Flu outbreak leads to closure of two wards at Ninewells
To reduce the spread of infection people are to avoid visiting ward 1 and 4.
Two wards at Ninewells Hospital have been shut to new admissions due to a flu outbreak.
Patients in ward 1 and 4 are being monitored and appropriate infection control and prevention measures are in place.
To help reduce the spread of infection, NHS Tayside is asking people to avoid visiting if possible.
People who have coughs and colds that could be flu are asked not to visit friends and relatives until they are better.
In a statement NHS Tayside apologised for any inconvenience.
