Winter wonderland and choirs ramp up Aberdeen festivities
Hazlehead Park will be host to craft stalls and the Cairngorm reindeer.
The festivities in Aberdeen are ramping up this weekend with choirs and a new winter wonderland.
Friends of Hazlehead Winter Wonderland will host Santa and his reindeer, as well as a variety of craft stalls.
There will be musical entertainment by Rock Choir, Hazlehead school choir and Bon Accord Silver Band.
Cairngorms reindeer will also be roaming around the park, giving it an extra festive twist.
The event at Hazlehead Park will be open from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
The city's King's Community Church Choir will be performing traditional Christmas carols at the Beach Ballroom on Saturday.
Tickets are free but the event will be in support of local cancer charity Friends of ANCHOR and global children's charity Compassion.
The Capriccio Choir from Albyn School will entertain at Carols in the Park on Saturday in Duthie Park.
There are two separate sittings, one between 11am and noon, and the other between 2pm and 3pm.
