Festive shoppers in Dundee will be able to help the less fortunate this Christmas.

The Help for Kids Giving Tree will open at the Overgate Shopping Centre from December 15 to 23.

More than £10,000 worth of gifts were collected and distributed on behalf of the charity last year.

Other activities include a Santagram and an Urban Food Fest.

Santagram will enable both adults and children to record a short Christmas video message with Santa and pose for selfies with props.

Urban Food Fest will run a street food market and make its debut by offering a range of hot food and drinks.

Malcolm Angus, centre manager at the Overgate, said: "This year's Christmas at Overgate promises to be extra special with our fantastic Santagram - an Overgate exclusive - running daily, and free to all, from December 15.

"In another first for the centre, we are delighted to be presenting a street food market with the Urban Food Fest team that is sure to prove a popular attraction."
