Super-sized gingerbread playhouse for children revealed
The house filled with sensory toys was donated to children's charity The Yard.
A group of National Lottery winners have turned a wood cabin into a super-sized gingerbread playhouse.
The group with a combined wealth of more than £25m donated the playhouse to children's charity The Yard in Dundee.
The Yard provides a safe place for disabled children and young people to experience and enjoy indoor and outdoor play.
The lottery winners worked over a 24-hour period to create the house and filled it with resources to make it a sensory room with glowing lights, toys and stimulating shapes.
The Yard's chief executive Celine Sinclair said: "We are so excited to have been chosen to receive this fantastic gingerbread playhouse.
"The winners' hard work and time spent on the project means so much to the children who will benefit from our new sensory room."
Two members of the group, Jim and Pam Forbes, said: "We were lucky enough to win the lottery and really wanted to show our appreciation by helping others.
"What better way to do so than by supporting an organisation like this that provides so many opportunities for fun and friendship for children.
"The Yard has a truly magical feel about it and the staff are incredible."
