Veterans 'furious' over conman's early release from jail
James Reilly admitted stealing £60,000 from the Dundee-based Tayforth Veterans Project.
A group of veterans who were conned by a charity boss say they are furious he's been allowed out of prison early.
They now want action taken to claw back the money he stolen.
James Reilly was jailed in July for 13 months but is now back at his home in Fife.
He admitted stealing £60,000 from the Dundee-based Tayforth Veterans Project.
The Crown Office said there are no proceedings ongoing at the moment.
Jake Reid formerly from Scots Guards Association said: "The Crown Office should get their act together, this thing about proceeds of crime and all the rest of it. Why are thieves like that getting away with it?
"It's there for everybody to see, big mansion in Balmullo, running about in a brand new BMW with his personalised number plates on it, he's more or less slapping you in the face saying 'do what you can do'."
