Book Week Scotland events in Dundee libraries revealed
Book Week Scotland celebrates books and reading nationally through free events.
Dundee libraries have launched their programme of events to celebrate Book Week Scotland 2017.
Running from November 27 to December 3, Book Week Scotland is a national celebration of books and reading that brings hundreds of free events to venues across the country.
The theme for this year's book week is "nourish", which Dundee will reflect by celebrating how books and reading feed the life of communities.
Highlights of the Dundee events programme include a panel discussion led by Rachel McCormack from Radio 4's Kitchen Cabinet and Sue Lawrence, food writer and journalist, appearing at Central Library.
Adult Library and Information Services Section leader Shona Donaldson said: "We're delighted to be holding these events, giving everyone in the community the opportunity to share their love of reading.
"We can't wait for everyone to grab a good book and join us."
Initiated by the Scottish Government and funded by Creative Scotland, Book Week Scotland will be delivered by Scottish Book Trust.
