North Sea operators and contractors shared their plans at a major jobs fair in Aberdeen on Wednesday.

Oil and Gas UK's 2017 Share Fair promoted a collaborative approach to business, with 20 major operator and contractor companies opening their appointment books for one-to-one slots at the event.

Held at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, the Oil and Gas Technology Centre was on hand to raise awareness of how it accelerates and funds technology innovation and co-invests in industry-led projects that take new technologies from early stage concept through to deployment in the oil field.

This year's event also aimed to strengthen the resilience of the UK's oil and gas supply chain by showcasing opportunities for businesses to diversify into other industrial sectors including nuclear and renewables.

The event included a keynote speech from Oil and Gas UK chief executive Deirdre Michie, the Supply Chain Code of Practice Awards and an exhibition arena.
