Leuchars Primary playground gets long-awaited upgrade
Parents had tried to make the outdoor space entertaining for several years.
Leuchars Primary School playground is being upgraded after a long running campaign.
Parents have been trying to make the outdoor space entertaining for the children but with no success.
Several businesses have now donated paint, labour and other resources to make the refurbishment possible.
In the lead up to the work the pupils created their own designs of what they would like and are excited to see the results.
Parent Craig Cummings said: "They are overjoyed. We've had a lot of good comments from the parents that the kids are playing on it already.
"One of the parents said they struggled to get their kids to school and now they're struggling to get them home from school."
Speaking about the new playground one of the children said: "I think the hopscotch and chess is my favourite part."
