The number of passengers using Dundee Airport over the last three months is down 63% on the same period last year, a new report shows.

Regional airport operator Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd have recorded the figures.

Just over 5600 people flew from the city between July and September, compared to almost 15,500 in 2016.

The drop is being blamed on the withdrawal of the Amsterdam service.

Flybe suspended the service just six months after it took off, blaming poor radar coverage for the move.
