Two Dundee graduates win prestigious global awards
Eight others were commended in this year's Undergraduate Awards.
Two University of Dundee graduates have won awards in the world's most prestigious international academic accolade programme.
Martha Andrews took the Architecture and Design award and Jordan Skrynka won the Psychology category in this year's Undergraduate Awards.
Described as a "junior Nobel prize", the awards recognise excellent research and original work across the sciences, humanities, business and creative arts.
Martha, who graduated in interior and environmental design in June, wrote about her final-year project where she explored how interior design could help create a happier environment in hospitals.
Jordan, who graduated in psychology in 2016, discussed in her winning essay how hunger can lead to poor decision making.
Professor Karl Leydecker, vice-principal at the university, said: "We are absolutely delighted that Martha and Jordan have been named as global winners in their categories.
"This is a fantastic achievement, alongside the other eight Dundee representatives who were highly commended."
Martha and Jordan will collect their awards at a ceremony in Dublin in November.
