More than 35,000 people from 100 countries will have passed through the doors of Offshore Europe this year.
In the two years since the exhibition was last in the city the industry has been plunged into its biggest downturn in a generation.
The focus on Friday was on the younger population with the message there is still a long term career in the industry.
