Enquiries are continuing into a major fire which destroyed a former church in Lochee on Monday night.

Six fire engines and 30 firefighters tackled the blaze at Old and St Luke's church after emergency services were alerted at around nine o'clock.

The site had been given the green light for conversion into 16 new homes.

It's not yet known if the fire, which caused nearby residents to be evacuated, was started deliberately.
