The Glow Gold September group have parked six bikes and two scooters along Union Street.
Golden bicycles have been parked in Union Street to raise awareness for childhood cancer month.
The Glow Gold September group has painted six donated bikes and two scooters for children who have died from cancer in 2012 to 2017.
The support group wants the colour gold to become synonymous with childhood cancer.
Milene Munro from the support group said: "Getting awareness around is so important. I get stopped and asked a lot about my gold ribbon.
"We want the gold ribbon for childhood cancer to be as well known as the pink one for breast cancer."
The group is still accepting donations of old bikes and hopes to have one in every park in Aberdeen by the end of the month.
More than 250 buildings in the UK will turn gold for the cause including Marshall College, King's College Tower and the Number 10 Bar in Aberdeen.
