A new watersports centre in Dundee is leading efforts to transform the city's Quay area into a major pleasure marina.

The project is part of Dundee's wider £1bn Waterfront development.

A wakeboarding centre will open this weekend, with a 400-berth marina and other attractions set to follow.

On Friday, pupils and teachers from the city's Harris Academy tried out the water sport for the first time.

Foxlake Dundee hopes to entertain and educate more than 300 people a day.
