Dundee City Council announce second local development plan
The proposal highlights key areas in the city that could benefit from investment.
Dundee City Council is seeking the public's view on a second local development plan.
Developers, landowners and agents are being asked to review the new proposals to continue to improve the city centre.
The Local Development Plan was implemented by the council in 2013 and now the second plan (LDP2) will guide development up to 2029.
Public consultation on the plans will begin on Monday and local have six weeks to share their thoughts with the council.
The proposal highlights key areas for development in the city that could benefit from financial and infrastructure investment.
The plan covers guidelines on what can and cannot be opened on the main thoroughfare from the Wellgate through the Murraygate to the Overgate.
It also states the the city centre will be given priority and identified the V&A as having the potential to enhance the Dundee as a "destination" shopping area.
