Aberdeen City Council will meet to discuss plans to radically change the way the local authority is run.

The council requires to make £125m worth of savings over the next five years, with the senior management structure to be replaced by four new directors.

So far 150 staff have accepted deals to leave but unions say they are concerned many more posts could be at risk.

A previous report noted changes had to be made to the way the local authority was run with work inhibited by a "series of outdated approaches."

A drive towards providing more services on a digital basis is one change being proposed.

Councillors will also discuss the prospect of rejoining Cosla during the meeting.
