Pupils from Kingspark School joined councillors to officially open the latest pocket garden on Dundee's Waterfront on Tuesday.

The Sensory Garden was based on a design concept by pupils from Craigie High School for people with visual impairment.

Featuring a range of containers to raise the planting above ground level, the design uses different types of plants to engage visitors' sight, hearing and touch.

Dundee City Council children and families service committee convener Gregor Murray said: "The initial idea from Craigie was taken on with help from landscape architects who worked in collaboration with pupils and staff at Kingspark to deliver an accessible garden with multi-sensory elements.

"I am delighted to see so many pupils and staff experience their work being fully brought to life."
