Bell blasts Dundee United over social media sale advert
Goalkeeper wasn't happy with his former club's conduct during summer window.
Cammy Bell has hit out at Dundee United for putting him up for sale on social media before sealing his return to Kilmarnock.
Having signed two shot-stoppers during the summer, United announced on Twitter and their website that they would listen to offers for the 30-year-old.
Just days later both parties came to an agreement that allowed Bell to secure a second spell at Rugby Park on a two-year deal.
"It just got a little bit messy and I wasn't best pleased," Bell admitted when asked about United's move.
"I actually said to the club [United] that I felt it had been handled poorly with the Twitter thing.
"I don't think anything should have come public from myself or from them. I was disappointed to be honest that it ended like that."
He added: "But it's in the past now. I didn't leave with any bad blood. I had a great time there and enjoyed it.
"I'm still good friends with the manager. We shook hands when I left and I wished them all the best."
