Jack Hendry strikes late to help Dundee beat Raith
Defender got the final touch to give Neil McCann's team a 2-1 victory in Fife.
A last-minute goal from Jack Hendry helped Dundee start their League Cup campaign with a 2-1 win over Raith Rovers.
Debutant Sofien Moussa gave Neil McCann's men the lead before Lewis Vaughan hit back for the hosts.
With penalties looming, Hendry rose high to find the net against Barry Smith's side.
After the game McCann praised the determination his players showed.
He said: "Big Jack is up and aggressive and it maybe does come off the back of Faiss, but I'm not sure who gets that. They can fight it out because just to get win showed a wee bit of character.
"There's loads to work on, there's loads I'm disappointed with in terms of how we played.
"Everything we've done this pre-season is geared towards winning. You get rewarded if you win, even games in training.
"And I was really pleased they took the ball back and didn't feel sorry for themselves after the equaliser. It was 'get up the park and go for the winner'."
