Around £30,000 worth of valuables have been stolen from a property in Aberdeen.

Police are appealing for information following the theft which happened between the afternoon of June 23 and June 25 in the Countesswells Road area.

Jewellery, electrical items and money worth a five figure sum have been reported missing, and officers are urging anyone with information to contact Police.

Detective Sergeant John Snedden said: "I would ask anyone who was in the area at the weekend and saw anything suspicious to please get in touch.

"Likewise, I would ask anyone with private CCTV footage in the area to let us know as it could be valuable to our inquiry.

"Thefts of any nature won't be tolerated and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace the person - or people - responsible.
