A restaurant and cafe are part of ambitious plans to transform an old cattle shed at Dundee Docks.

Shed 25 is the last remaining transit shed in the city, and stored cattle in pens for export to the army during World War Two.

Multi-million pound proposals were unveiled last year to bring the disused and dilapidated building back to life.

The development will have a number of office suites with a restaurant at it's southern end, offering views to the Historic Graving dock, the Frigate Unicorn and over the proposed marina.

A footbridge is set to be installed stretching across the dock, which will link the new development directly to the RSS Discovery and airport.

Project architect Ryan Cathro said: "We're going to have 11 companies in this space that used to be a transit shed.

"A points that was full of cattle, we're going to have some of the most high tech businesses mixed with some of the most creative businesses mixed with some fantastic hospitality and leisure space in an area which before too long is going to be one of the biggest marinas in the East Coast of Scotland."
