Almost 3000 people took part in the Race for Life weekend in Camperdown Park, Dundee.
Nicola Robb of Dundee was the first participant home, completing the 5K in 22 minutes in memory of close family friends June and John McMillan who both died from cancer.
Also running the race was "super-dad" Roy Hann, who has 13 children and celebrated Father's Day by crossing the finish line of the 5k.
Roy and his wife Emma, both 47, live in the city and are proud parents to children from two years old to 25 years old.
The family were chosen as VIP starters for Race for Life, and Roy sounded the air horn to start the 5k and family 5k events.
Roy said: "I can think of no better way to celebrate Father's Day.
"I'm so proud of all 13 of my children. I love being a dad and I'm really looking forward to becoming a grandad too.
"Even Meg who is only two was determined to complete the 5K course today. So often in my job as a nurse practitioner I try to help patients who have cancer.
"I've seen first hand how devastating the disease can be. That's why I'm determined to do everything I can to help fund research to help beat cancer sooner."
