A podiatry specialist and businesswoman from Dundee has been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Dr Bharti Rajput has been made an MBE for services to podiatry and the economy in Dundee.

The director of Sole Body Soul and her specialist team deliver advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques to get to the source of painful and problematic feet.

In 2016, through her role with Women Ahead, her clinic was visited by Annabelle Ewing, then Minister for youth and women's employment.

The 36-year-old has won the Association of Scottish Businesswomen's Most Enterprising Business Award.

More than 80 Scots have been included in the Queens' Birthday Honours list, with legendary comedian Billy Connolly receiving a knighthood.
