RRS Discovery cuts admission prices for summer season

The historic ship RRS Discovery is getting ready for summer with a newly refurbished look.
Now a major Dundee attraction, the ship took adventurer Captain Robert Falcon Scott to Antarctica in 1901.
The popular site is cutting admission prices by 50% for the summer, just as the ship's refurbished masts and rigging go back up.
The announcement comes just days after the charity behind the ship, the Dundee Heritage Trust, received an award in the name of a Scots explorer inspired by the ships adventures.
The charity was given a grant of £50,000 from the Headley Trust, which will be used for critical conservation work on Captain Scott's expedition ship.
Following in his idol's footsteps, Dundee man Henry Worsley endeavoured to be the first man to cross Antarctica unaided last year.
He had covered 913 miles over 71 days, including passing the south pole, when he called for help after suffering from exhaustion and dehydration. He died in hospital in Chile shortly afterwards.
