Almost 2000 people to hit streets in annual Kiltwalk
The event begins at 9am, with walkers of the 'Mighty Stride' tackling 26 miles.
Almost 2000 walkers from across Aberdeen are lacing up their boots to walk for charity this Sunday.
The annual Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk is expected to generate more than £1m for charities across Scotland.
Supported by Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation, the Kiltwalk involves participants of all ages and abilities getting together to raise money for charities close to their hearts.
The event begins at 9am, with walkers of the Mighty Stride tackling 26 miles starting from Duthie Park and ending in the Kiltwalk Village at Potrach Green.
More than 700 charitable organisations are set to benefit from the Kiltwalk.
Kiltwalk chief executive Paul Cooney said: "To all those walking and donating, we thank you. What you are doing really does make a huge impact on the lives of those who need it most.
"The Kiltwalk is always a brilliant day with a really unique atmosphere and this year it's bigger and better than ever before as walkers can choose to raise money for any charity they wish.
"For everyone who has been training in the lead up to the big day, it's nearly time to lace up those boots, don those kilts and get walking."
