An Aberdeenshire primary school has produced a video to help halt dog fouling in their area.

Pupils at Banff Primary have created the stop motion animation video as part of a respect campaign focused around improving the environment.

Children ranging from primary two to four have worked alongside local newspaper the Banffshire Journal to highlight the importance of looking after the region.

Using knitted characters from The Broons, the video talks about the importance of keeping areas around the school clean.

Part of the project also focuses on promoting the Doric dialect with characters using the local dialect in the film.

Pupils with special needs and autism are also part of the programme with the film available to watch on YouTube.
