Delegates gather in Dundee to discuss forgotten diseases
Wide-ranging programme will address threats to human and animal welfare.
More than 100 delegates will gather in Dundee to discuss some of the biggest challenges facing the world in human and animal healthcare.
The West Park Centre on Perth Road will host the two-day event with a wide-ranging programme including health issues, threats and solutions.
Sessions will include discussions on neglected diseases in the developing world; a new platform for improving human and animal welfare; animal health's contribution, and supporting commercialisation in health and life sciences.
Four companies will compete in a live pitch in front of a panel of internationally focused investors and entrepreneurs.
A cash prize of £500 will be awarded to the winner who will be announced on the day.
Now in its 20th year and organised by a committee of eight, the conference is a key event in growing Dundee's biotechnology sector.
