A 60-year-old Aberdeenshire man missing for over a week vanished after spending time in a hotel in Edinburgh.

Allan Reid from Portlethen was last seen at the Britannia Hotel on Belford Road on Wednesday, May 10.

He is described as 5ft 8in, white, of medium build, with brown eyes, receding red/grey hair and on occasion he will grow a bread.

Mr Reid normally wears T-shirts or shirts with blue jeans.

Police believe he may be staying at a guest house or another hotel in Edinburgh.
