Motorists face delays in city centre during sewage works
Junctions around Causewayend will be closed for two weekends for sewage work.
Motorists in Aberdeen face weekend delays over the next fortnight due to sewage works.
The southbound carriageway at Causewayend between the junctions with Fraser Place and Mounthooly Roundabout will close from 6am on Saturday until Monday.
Work had been due to start a day earlier but was delayed due to the Aberdeen v Celtic Premiership football match on Friday night.
A second weekend of disruption to either the southbound or northbound carriageway will occur during works from 7.30pm on Friday, May 19, until 6am on May 22.
Alternative routes will be in place with council officials urging drivers to avoid the area if possible.
A spokeswoman for the local authority said: "The closures are necessary to protect public safety during sewer connection works for the Robertson's building site."
