Final design for Union Terrace Gardens revamp unveiled
The £22m project is aimed at reshaping green space in the city centre.
Final designs for a £22m revamp of Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen have been unveiled.
The project, part of a major reshaping of green space in the city centre, was passed by councillors in March.
Plans from Glasgow-based architects LDA Design show a walkway from Union Street, a cafe and a staircase from Rosemount Viaduct.
Over 1,400 people had their say on plans during a public consultation period in December.
Councillors voted against Sir Ian Wood's £140m vision for Union Terrace Gardens in 2012.
