Work starts on Aberdeen's first Costa Coffee drive-thru
Abandoned building in Tullos will be transformed into new a Costa Coffee drive-thru.
Demolition work has begun to transform a vacant building into the city's first Coast Coffee drive-thru .
The site in Tullos, on the corner of Abbotswell Road and Wellington Road, it will be the first Costa Coffee drive-thru in the North-east of Scotland and the retailer's seventh similar outlet in Scotland.
The £2m development will be the city's largest Costa Coffee outlet and is expected to create a total of 20 jobs.
Iftikar Mian, director of West Coast Estates, said: "We are excited to be able to start work on this project which will breathe new life into a redundant office site and provide businesses with much needed convenient amenities on their doorstep.
"More than that though, it will generate new jobs and provide a modern destination for people in the community to meet and socialise."
