A £1m lottery prize remains unclaimed with the hunt on for the winner from Aberdeen.

The lucky winner in the Millionaire Raffle has been urged to claim their winnings following the draw on Saturday, April 8.

Hopeful northeast residents took to social media to share their hopes and dreams that they might just be in line to receive a life-changing amount of money.

Wendy Burnett said: "We were in Aberdeen that day and I bought a Lotto ticket. I wonder if I checked the numbers."

Alastiar Mote joked: "Can't imagine an Aberdonian parting with £2 for a ticket... must have been a visitor!".

Agnes Conner expressed her hope that the winning party claim their prize soon while Katriona Flett claimed: "It's me! Honest."

The winning code is GREY 3482 8937 with a deadline of Thursday, October 5, before the money will go to help lottery-funded projects across the UK.
