Derek McInnes brushes off Ryan Jack to Rangers claims
Out-of-contract midfielder has been linked with a move to the Ibrox side.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes says he's paying no attention to reports linking captain Ryan Jack with a move to Rangers.
The 25-year-old midfielder is out of contract this summer with the Ibrox side reported to be keen to bring him to Glasgow.
Fellow Dons star Kenny McLean is another man said to be on Rangers' radar.
However McInnes said: "It's the world we live in, there is always rumour and gossip and speculation so it doesn't faze us one way or the other.
"I've never been one for commenting about speculation. I've got a lot of good players here and I'm sure Kenny McLean is on a lot of club's lists, but he's our player thankfully and we will decide what we do with that."
Aberdeen start their post-split campaign with a home clash with St Johnstone.
It's important that, when that game comes round, that we have an edge to our play and we are in a good place," McInnes said.
