John Byrne supports art gallery redevelopment with new peice
Famous Scottish artist will create special art work for Aberdeen.
Later this year, renowned artist and playwright John Byrne is set to visit the city for the Aberdeen Art Gallery reopening.
Work has begun on the new complex and it is due to reopen in the winter.
John will unveil his new artwork at the Peacock Visual Arts centre.
He has created special artwork to support the redevelopment of the art gallery and Remembrance Hall.
Until then, the city's art collection will be in exhibitions at Aberdeen Maritime Museum and Drum Castle.
