A police car on its way to a 999 call has ploughed into a wall after colliding with a Mini.

Nobody was injured in the crash on Ashgrove Road in Aberdeen at 10am on Tuesday.

The police car was responding to a 999 call with its blue lights and sirens on when it hit the other car.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "There were two vehicles involved, a police vehicle and a Mini.

"There were no serious injuries. The police were attending a 999 incident with blue lights on but there was no pursuit."
