A man has died after a crash involving two cars on a road in Aberdeenshire.
The 49-year-old driver of a silver Mini died at the scene of the crash on the A947 near Oldmeldrum.
The Mini was travelling northbound when it collided with a black Toyota Avensis travelling soutbound.
The driver of the Avensis was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, though his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw the crash to contact them on 101.
